Agate, Grape

Grape Agate “Grape agate” is a trade name, not an agate at all, but a botryoidal purple Chalcedony.  Currently, it is being mined en masse from Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi Province, Indonesia.  Some have been mined in Green River, Utah, and possibly Pennsylvania, USA.

Grape Agate is an energetic introvert. It doesn’t yell at you in a booming voice, but it makes you sit and be quiet with it before giving up its secrets. This alone makes it calming and relaxing.

It’s exceptionally stimulative to claircognizance.  Claircognizance is when you have deep psychic knowledge that is very dimensional. This knowledge often comes in the form of spiritual downloads and can involve a precognitive experience. Grape agate stimulates this for those trying to improve their abilities and accentuates and increases accuracy for those with it.

It is a stone for the mind, improving focus, drive, and concentration. It can help you focus your energy and attention on what you want and where you need to go. It is calming and soothing, and it is a reasonably happy stone.

When you work with grape agate over time, it can help you be more comfortable with yourself, and it can provide internal ease and quiet inner chatter. It would be great for meditation but also work well in a home, bringing tranquil energy to a larger space.
