Sunstone

Sunstone - Second or Third Chakra, Connects you with the powerful and positive healing energy of the sun. It can be used to clear and energize the chakras and provide for brightening the chakras to make them feel fresh and clean. It is a happy stone, bringing joy to the carrier and then sharing joy. 

Helps heal hopelessness and fear. It can dissipate fearfulness, alleviate stress, and increase vitality. Casting light in dark places.  Sunstone has also been used to encourage independence and originality and to provide “luck” in games.  Sunstone in ancient Greece was said to represent the sun god, bringing life and abundance to those fortunate enough to have it. It brings about a strong connection to light and the regenerative power of the sun during meditation and everyday life.

It's extremely useful in removing “hooks” from other people from the chakra or aura. These hooks can be at the mental or emotional level and can have the effect of draining your energy. It is a good stone to have if you have difficulty saying “no”.
